Yes, it is final. The boss you see above is Irving, you encounter him in this form sometime in the 3rd chapter. 

Yes it is final. The boss you see above is Allyson, you encounter her at the very beginning of the game. Fighting her should be a piece of cake!

ewwww they both look like crap

I thought the bosses were...quite, similar. They all resembled the same concept: tentacles, abstract, and disgusting. They were'nt nearly as diverse as the bosses on Resident Evil 4. I personally liked how RE4 had bosses that have that nostalgic sense to them if you ever look back and play the game again in 10 or so years from now. The storyline was much better I think too. Because it involved one of my favorite characters and it recapped the relationship between leon and ada and following that, leon gets over ada in degeneration and seemingly gets angela. =p
